Research info about HF II with number 11

Postby Anthony CH » Tue Aug 27, 2019 9:36 am

Hello,
I'm looking for information on a Herny Farman (HFII) with number 11. I saw that the Henry Farman 2 was built in April 1909. The attached picture shows the plane over the sea, but unfortunately I can't find the exact place and what airshow. Thank you for your help. Anthony

Hi Anthony, and welcome to the forum!

A nice photo, thanks for posting! It looks very much like the machine that Russian pilot Michel Efimoff flew during the first days of the April 1910 Nice meeting - see this page! Later during the meeting it was repainted with a larger race number.

Agree, the pilot is Efimoff!
