For the greatest altitude reached (minimum 50 m). The airplanes had to be built in Germany, but foreign engines were allowed. Pilots who had won more than 5,000 Mark in previous contests were not eligible. Donated by the Königliche Preußische Kriegsministerium.

Belastungspreis
For the highest load carried, including the weight of the pilot. Additional weight had to be ballast in the form of sandbags, passengers were not allowed. (Minimum 140 kg, minimum flight time 5 minutes). All parts of the airplanes had to be built in Germany. Pilots who had won more than 5,000 Mark in previous contests were not eligible. Any unclaimed prize money was added to the Totalitäts-Preis (see below).
